Dear Friend,
Because you are reading this site, your Journey to Adoption has begun. CONGRATULATIONS! We are honored to be included as a guide along your path on this important journey. Lets take a moment to get you familiar with this site.
I. The site has three main sections
- Members.JourneytoAdoption.com: You are HERE. We'd suggest you add this page to your Favorites (bookmark) and come back as often as you can.
This "Members Section" was called the Silver Edition when it was a book. So occasionally, I'll still refer to it as the Silver Edition.
Be sure you fully comprehend the pages in the 8 Steps To Total Success beginning in Chapter 4 before moving on to the Gold Edition or the Online Techniques section. (But don't skip Chapters 1 - 3 ... they are short but important!). The lessons learned here are VITAL to your success in finding an adopted child in as little time as possible. Once you've read this section, you can move onto the Gold and Online Techniques areas.
START HERE with Chapter 1.
ALSO ... If you get LOST! Click the Site Map link at the bottom of the page. It will present the whole site on one page.
- Members.JourneytoAdoption.com/Gold/: These Gold Edition pages are ENHANCEMENTS to the Members (Silver) Section. You can NOT just read the Gold Edition and understand what is being discussed. BUT ... once you read the Members section, the Gold Edition pages will be VERY POWERFUL for speeding your Journey to Adoption!
- Members.JourneytoAdoption.com/Online/: Just like with the Gold Edition, PLEASE READ the MEMBER'S section (Silver Edition) FIRST. Then, you can add to your efforts, the Online Techniques presented in this section. This is GREAT STUFF. Be sure to read the Members Section right NOW. Then get to these pages as quickly as you can!
II. Meet Christy
"Compu-Christy", aka Christy, will appear in the upper right corner of most pages on this site. She has been programmed to read the pages to you when you click her Play button. Remember, depending on the length of the page, it may take a minute or two for the audio file to load. Be patient. Then, when you click her Play button, she will jump right in and read the page to you. Remember! She's a computer, so her pronunciation is not perfect. But she does pretty darn well.
