Purpose
This book offers valuable information, work tools and guidance for you in pursuing a domestic adoption. By following these steps and by using these ideas, you will reduce (and even eliminate) many of the unpleasant surprises you might otherwise encounter.
It will give you peace-of-mind and the confidence that you are pursuing your dream for parenthood with all that you have to offer.
In this book, you will learn and apply the basic principals of human interaction and business marketing. That may sound weird at first, but after you’re finished reading, you’ll see how putting all of these forces to work in one directed effort will greatly shorten your search for the Birthmom of your future adopted child.
What This Book Is
This book is a guide to help you shorten your journey to adoption. It places squarely in your hands the part of the adoption process that you can and should control . . . the search for the Birthmom of your future adopted child!
You will do this by putting into action a search plan that adds enormous control to an otherwise uncontrollable situation.
This book’s main focus is to "kick-start" your search efforts to find that one very special Birthmother of your future adopted child! Once you have found her, your adoption agency and/or adoption attorney can do what they do best by creating the legally rock-solid adoption that will last forever.
After reading this book, you will emerge with a workable, aggressive plan to actively take control of your search for the perfect Birthmom...and your future child!
What This Book Is Not
This book is not intended to replace the services and skills offered by your adoption agency and/or adoption attorney. Their services will be extremely important in working with the Birthmom that YOU find.
Your state-licensed agency will be able to provide services to your Birthmom that you cannot. Depending on laws in your state, they can offer health care, shelter, food, legal services, counseling and other important services. Your agency will be instrumental in handling your Birthmom’s needs in a loving, caring and legal way.
Also, this book is not intended to offer legal advice for you or the Birthmom that you find. I am not an attorney (nor do I play one on TV). Even if I were, laws differ from state to state, and both federal laws and state laws change from time to time. Please…for all state and federal legal guidance, find and consult a great adoption attorney.
So, let your adoption agency do what they do best, and let your adoption attorney (if you use one) handle your legal issues…and let this book help you take control of the search process so you can find the Birthmom of your future adopted child in as short a time as possible.
