When my wife and I started our adoption search, our agency had some very simple yet wise words to help us get started. They told us:

On the surface this seemed fine. Common sense really. After all, the idea of "networking" has always been successful in business, and it works in a job search…so why not with a Birthmom search?

So that’s what we did. We told our family, friends, doctors, co-workers, accountants, neighbors. We let everybody we knew know about our search.

But you know what? We realized that we didn’t really know that many people. We realized that if we were to really get our message out, we couldn’t stop there!

So instead, we had to create our own version of this simple idea. That is:

"Tell everyone you know" BUT CRANK IT UP TO AN OUTRAGEOUS LEVEL!!!
